Musical Ties that Bond
Overnight Standard is an acoustic, contemporary jazz quartet that records and performs original works. The group has been together since the youngest member was born. “We feel like family—because we are.”
By day, they forge their own pathways, but music remains at their intersection. Mom carries vocals. Dad plays piano and composes. Two brothers round out the sound on sax and trumpet. “Some families ski. Others go camping. We go to a studio and record music together. It’s a unique privilege, really.”
First Album Release
In October 2020, they released Norther Blue, their first long-play album comprised of ten original songs. "Like a cold, stormy night, we will see this through. It's not wrong, it's not right, just the old Norther Blue."
